Whent interviewed by this licensor on August 6, 2021, Rashida Anjum said she has told parents she will "give a little tap" to children on their hand or bottom if the parent has negative behavior, even children who are "toddlers". In addition to the child named in this referral, other children have reported being hit by Anjum. More likely than not, the child named in the referral received and/or was threatened with inappropriate discipline. Dispute Description: I want to dispute this report, I do not use any form of hitting or spanking for any reason. I did mention tapping the hand to the licensor as something I used to do with parent permission more than 6-7 years ago. ever since even with parents' permission, I do not discipline children with violence. with the child complaint, the child had an occurrence with my granddaughter, where she hit him for a toy. and Ayesha my daughter carried her out of the room to distance her. she was kicking and screaming and the other child seemed scared by the situation. but there was no hitting from the provider. I humbly request this to be taken off my record as there is no truth to this allegation. ?? "No observation provided."
